My Story
Katrina Hawkins is a visionary entrepreneur driven by a profound commitment to social impact and empowerment. As the founder of DJH Express, Inc, a leading force in the White Glove Last Mile transportation industry, Katrina embodies a dedication to excellence and service.

Since establishing DJH Express in 2018 alongside her husband, Katrina has been on a mission to not only deliver top-tier service to clients, ensuring timely and reliable deliveries, but also to address pressing societal challenges.
Recognizing the critical need to support individuals reintegrating into society after incarceration, Katrina has made it her life's purpose to provide job training and employment opportunities for the formerly incarcerated.
Katrina's passion for facilitating successful reintegration is evident in her tireless efforts to cultivate partnerships with federal, state, and community stakeholders. By fostering a collaborative ecosystem, she has constructed a seamless transition system, guiding individuals through comprehensive training programs and into meaningful employment. Her dedication to bridging the gap between training and employment opportunities has been instrumental in dismantling barriers and fostering pathways to success for countless individuals.

In 2020, Katrina and her husband took their commitment to the next level by founding DJH Express National Training Academy, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Recognized as a Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor by the Department of Labor, the academy serves as a beacon of hope for those seeking to rebuild their lives. Katrina firmly believes that access to quality job training not only empowers individuals but also serves as a cornerstone for successful reintegration and a vital tool in reducing recidivism rates.

Prior to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Katrina enjoyed a successful career at AT&T, where she honed her leadership skills and strategic vision. However, in 2019, she made the bold decision to retire from her corporate role to dedicate 100% of her time and energy to her passion for supporting reentry, veterans, and troubled youth.

Katrina Hawkins stands as an inspirational figure, leveraging her business acumen to drive positive change in her community and beyond. Recognizing the power of collaboration, she has also assembled a community of professionals who share her mission under the umbrella of T.I.T.A.A.N (Transitional Integration Through Advocacy, Assistance, and Networking). By uniting diverse talents and resources, Katrina and her team are amplifying their impact and creating a network of support to advance their shared vision of a more inclusive and equitable society.
